Donation for primary school ‘Im Kley’: Huesecken Wire supports local community involvement

With a donation of €1,500, Huesecken is supporting the fundraising association

of the local primary school ‘Im Kley’. The occasion was a company event at the beginning of December 2025,

at which the primary school was involved with a waffle stand.

The idea to actively involve a school in the company event came from the managing director of the

company himself. After receiving a request, the ‘Im Kley’ primary school agreed to provide

support at short notice and helped with great dedication. Over several hours,

dedicated helpers baked fresh waffles for the entire workforce and their families.

The event was all about appreciation:

As an officially certified family-friendly company, Huesecken Wire had invited

employees and their families to a appreciation party. Guided tours

offered partners and children the opportunity to get to know their relatives’ workplace

and gain insights into everyday working life.

In addition to the culinary offerings, a varied programme was provided for young

and old alike. A live band, barbecue and drinks carts, play and craft corners,

sports activities, a raffle and the distribution of St. Nicholas bags ensured

that the event was a complete success.

In recognition of the primary school’s commitment, Huesecken Wire

handed over a donation of €1,500 to the support association of the ‘Im Kley’ primary school.

There was great joy at the symbolic cheque presentation. The money will be used for urgently

needed purchases (new literature for the school library) and repairs

and will be flexibly allocated where it is most needed.

There are also plans to put on an educational play for the children on the subject of cyberbullying,

for which additional donors and sponsors are currently being sought.

The campaign impressively demonstrates how local cooperation and social

engagement enrich both sides. The joy over the successful cooperation

is correspondingly great – at the primary school as well as at Huesecken Wire.
